We are excited to offer Fibro Frizzle Easter Eggers. Chicks from this cross will be predominantly black with Frizzled feathers and black skin. There's a chance for some lighter colored Fibros as we're including some of our Fibro project birds in this cross.
This cross is being bred more for type than egg color. This is why they being listed as Easter Eggers as that implies they could lay any shade of color. We are looking to see blue, and green eggs, but brown or cream are also a possibility.
It is not responsible to breed frizzled birds back to frizzled birds. The resulting genetics create was is called a frazzle; a bird with weak, damaged feathers that are prone to breaking. Therefore, these chicks will have a 50% chance of being frizzled or smooth. You will be able to tell if your chicks have the frizzle gene as soon as their wing feathers start to come in.
