Black, Blue and Splash Copper Marans are friendly, hardy, dual purpose birds. They are average layers of medium to dark brown eggs that may be solid or speckled. Most of our blue and splash copper marans do not lay as dark as our black coppers, but we are actively working on selecting for darker egg color. We see many heavy bloomed and speckled eggs from our blue and splash copper lines.
There is a chance for any of the three colors from this breeding tractor. We will be offering Splash as a seperate line later in '21 or in early '22
