Ayam Cemani are a fibromelansitic game breed. They can be flightly in nature if not handled well as chicks. Our stock is very friendly considering, and we really enjoy owning this breed. They are moderat layers of medium sized white eggs. Hens will brood and hatch chicks and are fantastic mothers. Our birds are not perfect, but we are actively working on breeding towards better fibromelanism.
*Ayam Cemani by nature are a heavy cull breed, and not all chicks that hatch will be solid black. We have seen some white toenails and rarely white on the feet. We keep and breed our darkest stock.
