Midnight Eggers are one of our Fibro crosses that are varying shades of white and black with black lacing, blue to slate green beaks and legs. They are friendly, hardy and good layers of medium light blue eggs. There is a chance for solid black offspring with this cross and a slight chance they may lay white eggs in later generations.

  • Chicks are shipped at one day old. After hatching, chicks are still absorbing their yolk which provides them with nutrients for up to three days. For this reason, we do not ship chicks older than one day old and eggs are set specifically for orders. Chicks are generally listed in three month blocks and current expected shipping time frame is listed on the day old chick home page.
All orders are shipped on a first come first served basis.

All shipments are noted to be held for pickup at the post office with purchasers phone number.
At the time of shipment purchasers will recieve an automated shipping confirmation email with tracking number.

From February to June we have a shipping minimum of 10 chicks to ensure that chicks stay warm enough during transit. During the peak Summer months, July-September, we drop the minimum to 6 chicks. We don't generally send many chick orders in Fall, but if we do, the minimum goes back up to 10.

Shipping is a flat rate of $65 per box. This includes cost of shipment, shipping box, Grogrel and heat packs for the chicks. 1 box holds up to 25 chicks. An order over 25 chicks will require a second shipping cost.

    ****IMPORTANT****

If you need to contact us in regard to an existing order, please reply to the order confirmation email. This keep all correspondance tied directly to your order so that we do not lose track of anything that we may agree on. Social Media Messages and direct emails get lost easily with the large number of communications we receive daily.
